Your spiritual journey begins in Amritsar, where our driver will receive you at the airport, railway station, or your hotel. After a warm welcome, you'll visit the sacred Golden Temple, also known as Sri Harmandir Sahib, to seek blessings in the peaceful early hours. You’ll also have time to visit the historic Jallianwala Bagh and optionally explore the Partition Museum to understand the region’s rich history.
In the afternoon, you’ll begin your scenic road journey to Katra, the base town for the Vaishno Devi pilgrimage. The drive takes approximately 6–7 hours through the beautiful landscapes of Punjab and Jammu. On arrival in Katra by evening, you’ll check in to your hotel and rest for the night in preparation for the next day’s darshan.
After an early breakfast, begin the trek or pony ride to the holy shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi, located at an altitude of about 5,200 feet in the Trikuta Mountains. The trek is around 12 km one way, and you can choose to walk, hire ponies, or book a helicopter (subject to availability). Seek blessings at the main Bhawan and visit the sacred caves where Mata Vaishno Devi is believed to have revealed herself.
After darshan and some rest at the top, begin your return journey to Katra. Reach back to the hotel by evening and relax. Overnight stay in Katra.
After a leisurely breakfast, enjoy some free time in Katra for local shopping or to relax after the yatra. You can visit the local market to pick up souvenirs or spiritual items. Around noon, begin your journey back to Amritsar by road.
On arrival in Amritsar by evening, you’ll check in at your hotel. You may choose to explore the vibrant night markets or enjoy a peaceful dinner near the Golden Temple complex. Overnight stay in Amritsar.
Depending on your departure schedule, you can visit any remaining attractions in Amritsar such as the Gobindgarh Fort, Durgiana Temple, or Maharaja Ranjit Singh Panorama. Finally, our driver will drop you at the airport or railway station with sweet memories of your spiritual journey from Amritsar to Vaishno Devi.
